Domaine De Trévallon 

The Domaine de Trévallon is one of the most iconic and singular estates in southern France, located in the heart of the Alpilles near Saint-Étienne-du-Grès. Founded in the 1970s by Eloi Dürrbach, the domaine quickly established itself as a benchmark, standing apart from traditional classifications thanks to its distinctive style and strong identity.

Planted on limestone slopes covered with rocky scree and surrounded by wild garrigue and pine forests, the vineyard benefits from a preserved natural environment that plays a key role in the balance and complexity of the wines. The estate is particularly renowned for its unconventional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, a rare combination in the region that gives the wines both structure and remarkable aging potential.

Viticulture is carried out with great care and respect for nature, with controlled yields and entirely manual harvesting. In the cellar, the philosophy remains traditional and low-intervention: natural fermentations, gentle extraction, and long aging in large oak vats and barrels, allowing the wine to express itself with precision and authenticity.

On the nose, the wines of Domaine de Trévallon are complex and expressive, revealing aromas of black fruits, garrigue, spices, and subtle smoky notes. On the palate, they are structured yet harmonious, with fine tannins and remarkable freshness balancing their depth and power. The finish is long, layered, and persistent, reflecting the uniqueness of the terroir.
