Côtes de Bourg 

The appellation has been recognised since 1936 for red wines and since 1945 for white wines, and is located around the town of Bourg in the Gironde département, on around 9,637 acres of vine mainly composed of merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, malbec and sauvignon.
