Domaine de Villeneuve 

Domaine de Villeneuve was taken over by Stanislas Wallut in 1993. He inherited his grandfather’s vineyard and year after year, Stanislas-made wines remain true to the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation and above all, to its terroir. As his fellows and friends Davis Reynaud and Matthieu Barret, he focuses particularly on vine and soil-treatment. Vinifications are quite the same, wild yeast style, and ageing wines do not seem to bear the marks of wood at all. The outcome is almost unique for this appellation; delicacy is assured for the Côtes du Rhône "La Griffe" as well as for the Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Vielles Vignes".
