Domaine Pierre Gonon 

Pierre Gonon’s Saint-Joseph are ones of the best of the East Rhône valley. They compete well with Côte-Rôtie or Hermitage wines. The vineyard work is crucial and is fundamental to the whole process. The winemakers are constantly looking for delicacy and elegance. The wine enthusiasts will for sure appreciate any of their wines. This familial vineyard is run by Jean and Pierre Gonon. It is 24-acre large and is located at the South of the Saint-Joseph appellation. The vines are cultivated on the granite slopes of Mauves. They are cultivated very naturally, although not certified in organic farming: tillage, zero herbicide, zero insecticide. The vineyard farms the most beautiful plots of the Saint-Joseph appellation, Jean-Louis Chave is one of their neighbours.
