Magnum de Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès Château des Jacques Louis Jadot 2009
The Château des Jacques makes great wines, that can be called lively. The vines are located on the granito-volcanic soil of the Massif Central. The grapes are organically grown, to make biodynamic wine. The main varietal is the Gamay. Only natural yeasts are used in the fermentation process. The vineyard belongs to Louis Jadot, a famous company of Burgundy. However, the vineyard has remained fully independent and offers wines that are at the very least pleasant surprises.
The pot-au-feu is a familial dish that becomes better when you share it with others. This stew is very popular and affordable. Its nutritive qualities are undeniable and it generally delights the palates of the babies as well as of the elderly people. We advise you to try to cook it with other meats than beef. For example, pork is a fattier meat that gives more taste to this stew. It seems that the Moulin-à-Vent of Château de Jacques have been designed for it. Their tannins and fruity taste perfectly supplement the complex taste of the pot-au-feu. The magnum bottle is almost family-sized.
